The technologically-advanced Hamilton Microlab STAR series is a popular liquid handling platform used throughout the life science market. The STAR series of liquid handlers utilizes an air displacement pipetting system combined with the unique Compressed O-Ring Expansion (CO-RE) technology for disposable tip addition and ejection. Other technologies included in the MicroLab STAR series is Monitored Air Displacement (MAD), Total Aspirate and Dispense Monitoring (TADM) and Anti-Droplet Control (ADC), all unique features of the Hamilton MicroLab STAR series.

The option for the number of 1mL pipetting channels (2, 4, 8, 12, or 16) combined with the option for multi-channel pipettors (96 or 384) enables the customer to configure the STAR to maximize the efficiency of the instrument and lab processes. Additionally, the STAR can be configured with an internal plate manipulator (iSWAP), a barcode scanner (Autoload) and the optional but limited plate manipulator, core grippers.
The MicroLab STAR workstation is a very reliable liquid handling platform, capable of a wide variety of applications to meet your current and dynamic requirements. Due to the flexibility and reliability of the Hamilton STAR, ALE is able to provide the Hamilton STAR series of liquid handlers with confidence and with the security one desires for their lab equipment.
